I’m an artist and a mom, but I’ve been a photographer for longer than either of those. I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University, started my career in Toronto, Ontario and then moved across the ocean and worked for a time in Turin, Italy. I’m now settled in Waterloo, Ontario and working towards my Master’s of Fine Arts.
I almost obsessively photograph my baby boys River and Solen. Firstly, because of my passion for making art with my camera, and secondly, to save moments forever and not forget how incredible they are.
Birth and newborn photography are profoundly meaningful to me. There’s nothing that turns your world upside down (in the best way possible) more than welcoming a new member to your family. And it will all pass by in a blur, I promise. I feel so lucky to be documenting the same families at different stages in their lives. It’s the emotional highs and raw moments that draw me to this work.
I would be extremely honoured to contribute to the story being written about your growing family.
